Legal Union Representation

Since 1970, Burwell Nebout Trial Lawyers has proudly supported the union movement. The partners of Burwell Nebout Trial Lawyers are all card carrying members of USW 13-1. During our years of supporting the labor movement, we have represented the following unions:

• USW 13-1 (formerly known as P.A.C.E. 4-1 and O.C.A.W. 4-449)
• Texas City Carpenters Local
• Galveston Firefighters
• National Maritime Union
• Operating Engineers Local 347

Currently, Burwell Nebout Trial Lawyers represents USW 13-1 which is the largest oil and chemical workers union in the state of Texas. As the designated labor and injury counsel, we provide services from contract negotiations, grievance arbitrations to assistance in personal injury cases resulting from accidents occurring both on and off the job.

Galveston County AFL-CIO

The Galveston County AFL-CIO held their annual Christmas Party on December 5, 2006, at Fisherman's Wharf in Galveston and presented Burwell Nebout Trial Lawyers an award for their longstanding friendship and commitment to organized labor. Burwell Nebout Trial Lawyers represents United Steelworkers Local 13-1, the largest union in Galveston County.
